Leon Rosiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Felipe Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Portugal's Faustino Almeida to fire away a dangerous shot which Leon Rosiewicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 11th minute, one of Portugal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Portugal. Karol Gejda scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kong Jun Yi replaced Stasio Zukowski. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With an all-out effort, Portugal's Leon Rosiewicz threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viriato Moura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Biraga in the 56th minute of play. The corner ended in Caetano Moreira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chojnickie Byki's Leon Rosiewicz did a great save. With a little luck, Chojnickie Byki's Leon Rosiewicz got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Kong Jun Yi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chojnickie Byki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kong Jun Yi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. 69 minutes into the game, Fabian Penczkowski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Fábio Cannavaro fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chojnickie Byki's protests and gave Fábio Cannavaro a yellow card for diving instead. Fábio Cannavaro hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Leon Rosiewicz made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Daniel Pimentel sent off a good shot on target. After 77 minutes of play, Chojnickie Byki's Sebastian Domalik made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Kong Jun Yi came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipinho Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Rosiewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kong Jun Yi in the 84th minute of the match. Chojnickie Byki's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karol Gejda in the 85th minute. After taking down the ball on Chojnickie Byki's corner Karol Gejda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Fabian Penczkowski made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Chojnickie Byki's goalkeeper Leon Rosiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. Leon Rosiewicz came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Caetano Moreira. But to his dismay, Caetano Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chojnickie Byki had won after a very even match.
