Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Nate Drakenborg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 15th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Aro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 23rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Harry Higuita. Aro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harry Higuita. Harry Higuita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Lino Chago hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nate Drakenborg in the 32nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nate Drakenborg, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arnout Reekers was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nate Drakenborg in the 33rd minute of the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Muntian in the 34th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Higuita having to interfere. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Errikos Tsagaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Zacarias Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Darien came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Harry Higuita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harry Higuita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Errikos Tsagaris came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes, Nate Drakenborg made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wim Wilmes scored 2-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harry Higuita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harry Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 80th minute of the match. Harry Higuita made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Isac Muntian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Netherlands fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Netherlands:s Arnout Reekers showed great skill when he stopped Errikos Tsagaris:s penalty. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Darien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Aro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Harry Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nate Drakenborg, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Aro FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
