Mao Zhen Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 26th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 71st minute Fabrício Lustosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arana Ponta in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Arana Ponta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casper Claes having to make a save. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Laurens Vandamme hit a great ball. The supporters of Belgium booed when Academia Monte Gordo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adérito Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laurens Vandamme during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Lustosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Belgium players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Academia Monte Gordo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
