An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 20th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Mike van Kampen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Mike van Kampen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Domingos Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96th play minutes Karl Nietlisbach shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Fodor Daniel and just under the crossbar into goal. The Matos Velhos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
