With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 邱霖义 made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Balazs Lajos sent off a good shot on target. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but 邱霖义 firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 12th minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Major Barna hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with 邱霖义 in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antal Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 邱霖义 came out and tried to block the shot, but Antal Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Grabski came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balazs Lajos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Cayetano Milito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hungary had won after a very even match.
