Kvetoslav Janku charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kvetoslav Janku the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Göta FC booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kvetoslav Janku didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damazy Chwalkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Dostal in the 13th minute of the match. Rutger Lindell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Kristoffer Benet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Göta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Czech Republic the free kick. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Göta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Benet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Dostal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damazy Chwalkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Dostal in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Hedlund in the 24th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magnus Grelsson. After 35 minutes, Uno Jonasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Göta FC and the Czech Republic players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Göta FC's Uno Jonasson got a free kick in the 35th minute. Erik Jilek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Chwalkiewicz having to interfere. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Alan Rezek a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Jilek was the one to do the kick off. David Rusil hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Grelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Kvetoslav Janku kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Daniel Vitek lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 63 minutes into the game, one of Czech Republic:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Göta FC. Algot Beckström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vavrinec Holub. 2-0. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Grelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Bohumir Kohout got a free kick in the 71st minute. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Magnus Grelsson sped through Czech Republic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutger Lindell in the 77th minute of play. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 83rd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Turecek to maneuver through the defense. David Rusil's late challenge caught a Göta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Rusil helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's David Rusil got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Göta FC's zone, Denis Dostal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damazy Chwalkiewicz came out of the goal and Denis Dostal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rutger Lindell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Hedlund in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Joakim Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rutger Lindell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Grelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joakim Hedlund in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. Göta FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
