But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Konstantinas Malevičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romualdas Podėris who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Fodor Daniel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 13th minute of play forced LFK Spyris's goalkeeper Konstantinas Malevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantinas Malevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the LFK Spyris defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstantinas Malevičius. The LFK Spyris fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstantinas Malevičius should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 21st minute of play forced LFK Spyris's goalkeeper Konstantinas Malevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LFK Spyris's Konstantinas Malevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th match minute, LFK Spyris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dainius Pumputis to maneuver through the defense. Takacs Tibor was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 36th minute, Romualdas Podėris made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Konstantinas Malevičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

51 minutes into the match, LFK Spyris's goalkeeper Konstantinas Malevičius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. 51 minutes into the game, Major Barna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Konstantinas Malevičius. Major Barna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 56th minute. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LFK Spyris's Konstantinas Malevičius did a great save. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romualdas Podėris in the 62nd minute of play. LFK Spyris's Kristijonas Bačys was substituted for Aldas Alvinskas. The corner ended in Benediktas Kantauskas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Balazs Lajos could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Konstantinas Malevičius however easily saved by the left post. In the 87th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that LFK Spyris's Konstantinas Malevičius managed to reach the ball for a save.
