Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 8 minutes, Peder Rönn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Göta FC and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Denmark booed when Göta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Rönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernt Sjöberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernt Sjöberg saved Göta FC from getting behind. Bernt Sjöberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Keld Paulsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 26thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Göta FC's Bernt Sjöberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Göta FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Denmark's Chris Nygaard to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernt Sjöberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rutger Lindell kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Göta FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Svenningsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alf Dahlman's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alf Dahlman helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 minutes Göta FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chris Nygaard who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Olav Graversen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 37 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernt Sjöberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Denmark were awarded a corner. Chris Nygaard went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Olav Graversen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernt Sjöberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Göta FC's Bernt Sjöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Steen in the 43rd minute of play. The Göta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Denmark were winning 0-2.

Göta FC's Joakim Hedlund got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rutger Lindell during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chris Nygaard had several of the Göta FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Bernt Sjöberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Bernt Sjöberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Göta FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Joachim Sjögren hit a great ball. 88 minutes in the game Anton Lindsten did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Peder Rönn. In the 89th minute, Magnus Grelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Göta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
