If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elivélton Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elivélton Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Elivélton Moura got a free kick in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dagoberto Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dagoberto Veiga came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Azevedo in the 10th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Dagoberto Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 25th minute of play. Dagoberto Veiga came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor. But to his dismay, Mathijn Doctor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dagoberto Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Veiga having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Vicente Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Tijolo 6 Furos and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card.

SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Raimundo Bittencourt was substituted for Moisés Donatello. Dagoberto Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 56 played minutes SE Tijolo 6 Furos got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Leão. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Filipe Sá was substituted for Jimi Drongstrup. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Custódio in the 67th minute of play. Vicente Azevedo scored 1-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dagoberto Veiga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. Wim Wilmes came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dagoberto Veiga could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 79th minute of play forced SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goalkeeper Dagoberto Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Dagoberto Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save SE Tijolo 6 Furos from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Vicente Azevedo in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Bittencourt in the 91st minute of play. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SE Tijolo 6 Furos throughout the match.
