After 5 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Moreira. After having played for 8 minutes, Waldemar Ryback managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. City Friseur Wuppertal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Ryback was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipe Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Xu Yi Lei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Ryback in the 72nd minute of play. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albi Martínez went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xu Yi Lei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 97th minute of play. In the 97th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xu Yi Lei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
