Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antal Valentin got the match started through his kick off. Conan Shields showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 11 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conan Shields was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vinnie Small struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clapham Comets F.C.. After 16 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sly Percival. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Takacs Tibor in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conan Shields saved Clapham Comets F.C. from getting behind. In the 18th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Shields saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piers Nethercot in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Conan Shields showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Piers Nethercot could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Fodor Daniel however easily saved by the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Conan Shields reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Conan Shields played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Shields saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sly Percival charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sly Percival the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Sly Percival hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Clapham Comets F.C.'s zone, Takacs Tibor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conan Shields came out of the goal and Takacs Tibor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Piers Nethercot to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Conan Shields had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. 64 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Conan Shields, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Balazs Lajos got a free kick in the 71st minute. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Conan Shields tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Piers Nethercot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After having played for 91 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert Thorne hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conan Shields made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.
