An unexpectedly hard shot by 狄勇冰 in the 10th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ≮王者归来≯千冉君笑's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Theobald Roques in the 22nd minute. A well done corner resulted in 狄勇冰 drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Netherlands's goalkeeper. In the 25th match minute, ≮王者归来≯千冉君笑 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 史震远 to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Mathijn Doctor put in a rough tackle. Arnout Reekers had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping 狄勇冰's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 30th minute, one of Netherlands:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Netherlands. Arnout Reekers had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping 狄勇冰's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by ≮王者归来≯千冉君笑's 狄勇冰. But to his dismay, 狄勇冰 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 朱政亦, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ≮王者归来≯千冉君笑 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Theobald Roques hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustaaf Groeneveldt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If 朱政亦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 叶适云 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute 狄勇冰 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, 朱正光 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when 朱正光 came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 朱正光 in the 80th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, ≮王者归来≯千冉君笑's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Heikki Konttila, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. 叶适云 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Theobald Roques managed to get in a good position for a shot. ≮王者归来≯千冉君笑's supporters rose to their feet, but Theobald Roques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in ≮王者归来≯千冉君笑's zone, Lars Meesters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 叶适云 came out of the goal and Lars Meesters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 93 played minutes ≮王者归来≯千冉君笑 got a freekick which was hit by 朱正光. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯千冉君笑's 史震远 got a free kick in the 95th minute. The ≮王者归来≯千冉君笑 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ≮王者归来≯千冉君笑 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
