After 17 played minutes, Fragmenty Nietoperzy's Pankracy Nakonieczny shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casper Claes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fragmenty Nietoperzy reached it. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Rizescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 38th minute, Yves Dervaux reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Czeslaw Tyski. The goal made the score 1-0. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Czeslaw Tyski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the game Pankracy Nakonieczny made a throw-in which Borys Charamut played forward. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fragmenty Nietoperzy made a substitution. Radowit Niewiadomski replaced Karol Debowy. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Vanderstraeten made a kick off. If Wladyslaw Rzegotka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 97 in the game by Avram Rizescu from a close distance when the talented Casper Claes managed to make a qualified save. Belgium's players were relieved. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
