This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Maxime Durand as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 8th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerwin Broerse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alfredo Rulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Rulli in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Isidoro Thomas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of France's Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 17th minute of play forced Sheep United's goalkeeper Gerwin Broerse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Chapuis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerwin Broerse having to interfere. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Isidoro Thomas tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Barbier came free in the 45th minute and tried to tip the ball over Gerwin Broerse, but to the joy of Sheep United's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Sheep United's Gerwin Broerse got control of the ball when Camille Baume tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alfredo Rulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Quentin Beaux's late challenge caught a Sheep United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quentin Beaux helped the player get up and apologised. Pim Fortuin charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pim Fortuin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pim Fortuin hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Many of France's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. France may have spent more time on the ball, but Sheep United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
