A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mehmet Kerem was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the ASD Real Molinella 1911 defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Kerem. The ASD Real Molinella 1911 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Kerem should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 22 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund. ASD Real Molinella 1911's Mehmet Kerem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 42nd minute of play. Mehmet Kerem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Camillo Talamo made the kick off in the second half. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Kerem having to interfere. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by ASD Real Molinella 1911's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mehmet Kerem quite easily take care of the ball. Mehmet Kerem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 61st minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes ASD Real Molinella 1911 got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Scarinci. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after ASD Real Molinella 1911's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Kerem having to interfere. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ASD Real Molinella 1911 throughout the match.
