After recieving a nice pass, AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s Radoš Fajon tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Szkaradek in the 21st minute of play. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Sezer Akburç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. The throw-in from Eusebio Bautista in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Broman got free with Arnout Reekers in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Wim Wilmes took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Sezer Akburç to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kees Mooiweer to maneuver through the defense. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
