Portugal's Bruno Bastos got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Brown Puerto Madryn's Taaniel Hill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When Anton Eriksson fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brown Puerto Madryn's protests and gave Anton Eriksson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Portugal booed when Brown Puerto Madryn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Felipe Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brown Puerto Madryn's Santiago Nataniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santiago Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Taaniel Hill made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Santiago Nataniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santiago Nataniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 57th minute of the match. Santiago Nataniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 59th minute. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Santiago Nataniel made a huge save. Brown Puerto Madryn made a substitution.
