Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Johannes Kanestrøm got the match started through his kick off. Hans-Erik Isdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute of the match, Johannes Kanestrøm got a very nice opportunity to score, but Keld Paulsen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Johannes Kanestrøm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute of the match Ku Kost IL got a corner. Denmark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kjetil Christoffersen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Ku Kost IL booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theis Winther didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Kanestrøm's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 22nd minute of play. Denmark were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Ku Kost IL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chris Nygaard took the corner. After taking down the ball on Denmark's corner Mikkel Wulff fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hans-Erik Isdal quite easily take care of the ball. Frode Hunstad hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Johannes Kanestrøm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frode Hunstad hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Olav Graversen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Kanestrøm in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. Lars Steen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Erik Isdal having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Nygaard made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a free kick in the 51st minute. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hans-Erik Isdal came out and tried to block the shot, but Bertram Svenningsen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 53rd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Johannes Kanestrøm notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 61 minutes, Mikkel Sikveland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ku Kost IL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikkel Sikveland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Chris Nygaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Chris Nygaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Hans-Erik Isdal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 82ndth minute of the game Johannes Kanestrøm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johannes Kanestrøm hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Bertram Svenningsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertram Svenningsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans-Erik Isdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denmark played a much better game than Ku Kost IL and deserved their victory. The Ku Kost IL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
