With an all-out effort, Echesortu Football Club's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guaberto Chucho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Echesortu Football Club defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Sanson. The Echesortu Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Sanson should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Echesortu Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Lucas Sanson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Echesortu Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 麦斐飞 to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Sanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 29th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Bermudo. Netherlands's Bas Tuitert was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucas Sanson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 38th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Efrain Bingen sent off a good shot on target.

Sílvio Luís Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Luís Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Lucas Sanson however easily saved by the left post. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Lucas Sanson threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Echesortu Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lucas Sanson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Echesortu Football Club's Lucas Sanson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Echesortu Football Club from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 88th minute of play forced Echesortu Football Club's goalkeeper Lucas Sanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Sanson having to interfere. In the 94th minute of the match, Lars Meesters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lucas Sanson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Netherlands played a much better game than Echesortu Football Club and deserved their victory. The Echesortu Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
