Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Ku Kost IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Kanestrøm to maneuver through the defense. Ku Kost IL's Hans-Erik Isdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 15th minute of play. Hans-Erik Isdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 17th minute, Frode Hunstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Denmark fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Denmark's Chris Nygaard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 23rd minute, Bertram Svenningsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Chris Nygaard hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes Ku Kost IL got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Magnus Klaussen. Hans-Erik Isdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Johannes Kanestrøm lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Keld Paulsen. In the 40th minute, Johannes Kanestrøm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Ivar Hojem in the 52nd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikkel Sikveland in the 55th minute of play. After 56 minutes, Tor-Ivar Hojem made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute, Frode Hunstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Ku Kost IL got a freekick which was hit by Kjetil Christoffersen. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hans-Erik Isdal. 65 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans-Erik Isdal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans-Erik Isdal saved Ku Kost IL from getting behind. 76 minutes into the game, Johannes Kanestrøm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Ku Kost IL's Tor-Magnus Klaussen got a free kick in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans-Erik Isdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ku Kost IL had won after a very even match.
