In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Kalle Askberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erland Kvist got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ted Holmgren. In the 97th minute, Felipinho Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Kalle Askberg. Sundborn IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Portugal had won after a very even match.
