Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Wydrych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Pablo Fuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Juan Pablo Fuentes took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, SAPSALOMADA FC's goalkeeper Nikos Nikolaou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Juan Pablo Fuentes scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Nikos Nikolaou skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 27th minute Eleftherios Poulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Pablo Fuentes in the 28th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 31st minute of play forced SAPSALOMADA FC's goalkeeper Nikos Nikolaou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Pablo Fuentes in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, SAPSALOMADA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Nikos Nikolaou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleftherios Poulis in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijn Doctor to maneuver through the defense. Lars Meesters hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Pablo Fuentes made a kick off. Nikos Nikolaou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 55th minute of the match. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after SAPSALOMADA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Juan Pablo Fuentes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nikos Nikolaou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nikos Nikolaou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Netherlands booed when SAPSALOMADA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleftherios Poulis in the 82nd minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them.
