Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marco Assendelft showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler threw the ball into play from the sideline. De hijgende Hertjes's Cristoforo Tatangelo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 43 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. In the 47th minute, Cristoforo Tatangelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Assendelft to strike the kick off in the second half. Alex Belém blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Assendelft in the 54th minute of the match. If Marco Assendelft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of De hijgende Hertjes booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolf Meulman made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Yong 典韦 charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yong 典韦 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes De hijgende Hertjes got a freekick which was hit by Yong 典韦. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Rudolf Meulman in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willy Stieler during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Robert Mos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Assendelft in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. De hijgende Hertjes were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alex Belém took the corner. A collision led to De hijgende Hertjes getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Yong 典韦 hit a great ball. When Alex Belém came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the De hijgende Hertjes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Belém couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for De hijgende Hertjes.
