After 16 minutes, Yong 典韦 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De hijgende Hertjes and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Germany booed when De hijgende Hertjes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yong 典韦 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albin Holweck charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Holweck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Robert Mos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Assendelft in the 30th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Meulman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, De hijgende Hertjes's Alex Belém got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Robert Mos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, Marco Assendelft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Frank Sachs made a precise shot to the right of Rudolf Meulman. De hijgende Hertjes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

52 minutes into the match, Marco Assendelft notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Assendelft came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match De hijgende Hertjes got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alex Belém ran over to the corner to take the kick. De hijgende Hertjes's Robert Mos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Mos in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Assendelft struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De hijgende Hertjes. After 78 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alex Belém who took care of the corner kick. If Marco Assendelft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led De hijgende Hertjes's Robert Mos to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, De hijgende Hertjes's Marco Assendelft sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Alex Belém almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Alex Belém scored 5-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Assendelft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De hijgende Hertjes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
