An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Quirin Brauer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 21st minute, Matias De Cat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute of the match Winksele 2016 got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tommie Verhengen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tommie Verhengen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Hemeleers having to interfere. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Sylven Van Der Meeren sent off a good shot on target. With 40 minutes on the clock, Sven Krakouer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Winksele 2016 a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tommie Verhengen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias De Cat in the 65th minute of play. Winksele 2016's Matias De Cat managed to work through Germany's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Matias De Cat dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jules Van Den Broeck's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jules Van Den Broeck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Winksele 2016 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jules Van Den Broeck to maneuver through the defense. Winksele 2016's Jozef Hemeleers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 68th minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylven Van Der Meeren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Sylven Van Der Meeren made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
