Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Sebastian Gasteiz lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Arnout Reekers. The supporters of Netherlands booed when KS KRUK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Brataniec didn't get a good kick on the ball. KS KRUK's Leon Mios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of play. Arkadiusz Brzonkala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Mios came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 26th minute, Sebastian Szarmach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Gasteiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Mios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. KS KRUK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leon Mios quite easily take care of the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Leon Mios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Mios. Leon Mios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gust Ennemans got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of KS KRUK booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gust Ennemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Brzonkala in the 46th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Mios having to interfere. After the first half Netherlands were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leon Mios, 1-3. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leon Mios could save by the left post. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leon Mios quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leon Mios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 65th minute of play. Sebastian Gasteiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Eikelkamp might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Mios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Eikelkamp ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Mios having to make a save. In the 76th minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Mios was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. With a little luck, KS KRUK's Leon Mios got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Netherlands's Wim Wilmes to fire away a dangerous shot which Leon Mios despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Gasteiz came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust Ennemans to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 98 minutes, Arkadiusz Brzonkala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS KRUK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arkadiusz Brzonkala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
