The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Italy's Zaccheo Andolina got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Talha Mertkal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Kolonia Radlin's goalkeeper Talha Mertkal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. Talha Mertkal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Kolonia Radlin got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Brzeszczak. Italy's Siricio Liotta got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Talha Mertkal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kolonia Radlin's Marek Bergkamp was substituted for Ralph Hinder. 81 minutes into the match, Kolonia Radlin's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Talha Mertkal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
