The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maxime Durand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s Julian Kosakowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Richárd Textex was a little too slow when Camille Baume got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Kosakowski in the 16th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Julian Kosakowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remy Dupuy charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remy Dupuy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Remy Dupuy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Julian Kosakowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Kosakowski in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. In the 32nd minute of the match ORIZABA F.C. got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgil van Dijk ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to ORIZABA F.C.'s Leoncio Huerta getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Richárd Textex tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Kosakowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Robert Chapuis hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Camille Baume could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Richárd Textex made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Kosakowski in the 45th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

ORIZABA F.C.'s Melchor Florin was substituted for Loco Oko. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Peletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maxime Durand stood somewhat misplaced when Cauan Rosa came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 54 minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cauan Rosa in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Peletier in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richárd Textex saved ORIZABA F.C. from getting behind. ORIZABA F.C.'s Cauan Rosa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Beattie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Beattie's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Fausto Beattie struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ORIZABA F.C.. Fausto Beattie received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maxime Durand came out and tried to block the shot, but Fausto Beattie slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 74th minute. 77 minutes in the game, Fausto Beattie fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maxime Durand having to interfere. In the 79th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richárd Textex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Kosakowski came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Beattie, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. ORIZABA F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Virgil van Dijk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ORIZABA F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
