Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Niculae Ungureanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spain's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Toralf Hell was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 8thth minute of the game Adria Bielsa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Adria Bielsa sped through SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andriy Lunin. In the 11th minute of the match, Omar Toledo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andriy Lunin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 15th minute of the match SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a corner. Spain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henning Fink made a great header on SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s corner, it was just that Spain's Gabriel Ascaso managed to reach the ball for a save. 17 minutes into the game, one of Spain:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Rabellino in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andriy Lunin saved SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. from getting behind. In the 28th minute of the match SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a corner. Spain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Toralf Hell ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andriy Lunin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Sartori's late challenge caught a SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Sartori helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Spain! When Niculae Ungureanu came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Ungureanu couldn't finish the play. Andriy Lunin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Aranda in the 46th minute of play. The Spain players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adria Bielsa to make the kick off. When Spain's Adria Bielsa in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalie prevented a goal. Andriy Lunin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If David Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Elodio in the 69th minute of play. Henning Fink's late challenge caught a Spain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henning Fink helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Spain booed when SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Fink didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Elodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andriy Lunin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Ruiz in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Sergio Ruiz made a precise shot to the right of Andriy Lunin. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Spain were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
