After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Arnaldo Idacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAM Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Idacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Theodore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Guillaume Bonte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by CAM Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. 28 minutes into the match, CAM Football Club's Arnaldo Idacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martin Theodore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Dervaux in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Belgium got a corner. CAM Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Martin Theodore in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37th minute Arnaldo Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Belgium booed when CAM Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Bartoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Theodore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Idacio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Idacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Theodore made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the game, Santiago Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CAM Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgium the free kick. A collision led to CAM Football Club getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Santiago Marquez hit a great ball. Arnaldo Idacio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. CAM Football Club made a substitution. Angelo Isusko replaced Apolo Bikendi. In the 64th minute, Teofilo Kelemen made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 69th minute of play forced CAM Football Club's goalkeeper Martin Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, CAM Football Club's goalkeeper Martin Theodore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Santiago Marquez hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belgium! Bernabe Llorienzo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Kelemen in the 80th minute of play. Teofilo Kelemen struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAM Football Club. If Yves Dervaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Kelemen took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casper Claes. Casper Claes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. CAM Football Club's Martin Theodore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save CAM Football Club from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Belgium players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CAM Football Club.
