Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Gana to make the kick off. The shot was a little too simple and Dražen Ladić could save by the left post. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Álvaro Fonseca was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Morena's players had a chance to rest. In the 57th minute, Eustaquio Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dražen Ladić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 59th minute. In the 63rd match minute, AC Morena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Gana to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Fonseca was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Morena's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on AC Morena's corner Aldo Di Biagio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Aquiles Gana made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Bakos Endre charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bakos Endre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Morena's Aquiles Gana got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because AC Morena had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
