After 12 minutes La Git!'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. La Git!'s Duman Temizcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 15th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Duman Temizcan made a huge save. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duman Temizcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Eikelkamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Xabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, La Git!'s Ahmet Orhan Erel got a free kick in the 35th minute. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La Git!. Lars Meesters hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Wieslaw Kolano made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Orhan Erel during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, La Git! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Orhan Erel to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, La Git!'s Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leopoldo Manta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 73rd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duman Temizcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Manta hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. La Git! made a substitution. Kamil Gulson replaced Sagi Bek. Ahmet Orhan Erel hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match.
