EW® Leeds's Nikifor Ruzhekov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save EW® Leeds from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, EW® Leeds's goalkeeper Nikifor Ruzhekov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. 19 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikifor Ruzhekov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sander Dermaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tervel Dushanov in the 23rd minute of play. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatoli Filov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Edward Vanderstraeten could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Nikifor Ruzhekov however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Nikifor Ruzhekov in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, EW® Leeds's goalkeeper Nikifor Ruzhekov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. After a defensive mix-up in EW® Leeds's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikifor Ruzhekov came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After 51 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikifor Ruzhekov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slavi Dramov in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind EW® Leeds's goalkeeper Nikifor Ruzhekov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of EW® Leeds booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Vanderstraeten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anatoli Filov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yves Dervaux kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 69th minute Tervel Dushanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slavi Dramov in the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Slavi Dramov came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikifor Ruzhekov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 77th minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Slavi Dramov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikifor Ruzhekov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 90th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sander Dermaut to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes, EW® Leeds's Pavlin Mogilanski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casper Claes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in EW® Leeds reached it. Chavdar Motekov charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chavdar Motekov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chavdar Motekov hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the EW® Leeds players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Belgium.
