Christian Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Bennet in the 7th minute of the match. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mårtensson having to interfere. Christian Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 13th minute of play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mårtensson having to interfere. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Major Barna sped through Marieholm's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Mårtensson. Björn Jespersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Anders Bennet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marieholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Bennet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Bakos Endre got a free kick in the 71st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Marieholm's Sture Söderberg tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute of the match, Balazs Lajos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christian Mårtensson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Major Barna in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christian Mårtensson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 79th match minute, Marieholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Hedström to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Christian Mårtensson however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Christian Mårtensson in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Mårtensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 85th minute. The supporters of Hungary booed when Marieholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Hedström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balazs Lajos came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christian Mårtensson could save by the left post. After 94 minutes Marieholm's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Christian Mårtensson was a little too slow when Major Barna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-5.
