But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Rova Rosiori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Mateescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Rova Rosiori's Gabriel Măcriș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Natanael Moreno hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
