Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by William Rigg in the 4th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes William Rigg rounded Portugal's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. William Rigg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Portugal got a corner. The Valar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Barreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emmanuel Canturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 19th minute of the match. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emmanuel Canturri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, The Valar's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Emmanuel Canturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes The Valar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Portugal's corner Felipe Barreto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emmanuel Canturri quite easily take care of the ball. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when William Rigg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 34th minute, Martin Mols hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viriato Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emmanuel Canturri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viriato Moura ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emmanuel Canturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 54th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, The Valar's William Rigg made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Valar's Emmanuel Canturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 66th minute of play. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. The Valar's William Rigg got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, William Rigg notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Faustino Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanuel Canturri having to interfere. Emmanuel Canturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Emmanuel Canturri threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolomeu Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Daniel Pimentel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Felipinho Amorim heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 93rd minute Felipinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Canturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Valar's William Rigg got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Valar had won after a very even match.
