The supporters of Brutal DeLuxe booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olav Graversen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theis Winther hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bertram Svenningsen. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Theis Winther got a free kick in the 27th minute. Nils Lindkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Brutal DeLuxe defense, Bertram Svenningsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolf Pihlgren. The Brutal DeLuxe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolf Pihlgren should have stopped the shot. When Brutal DeLuxe's Olle Jönsson in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Brutal DeLuxe's Nils Lindkvist got a free kick in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Nygaard made a kick off. Brutal DeLuxe's Rolf Pihlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Steen in the 55th minute of play. Theis Winther made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Olav Graversen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Steen in the 60th minute of play forced Brutal DeLuxe's goalkeeper Rolf Pihlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theis Winther made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Brutal DeLuxe's Nils Lindkvist. Olav Graversen made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Brutal DeLuxe's Nils Lindkvist. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Jönsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Brutal DeLuxe's Olle Jönsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kim Deckbergh hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Rolf Pihlgren was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Bertram Svenningsen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bertram Svenningsen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 84th minute of play forced Brutal DeLuxe's goalkeeper Rolf Pihlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nils Lindkvist, made in the 87th minute of the game. If Lars Steen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Denmark could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brutal DeLuxe throughout the match.
