In the 6th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie De Smedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when A.J. 武磊 came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Ritchie De Smedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie De Smedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim Wilmes scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ritchie De Smedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A.J. 武磊 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 36th minute of play forced ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德's goalkeeper Ritchie De Smedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 高常政's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 高常政 helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. 高常政 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ritchie De Smedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Ritchie De Smedt came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's David Eikelkamp. But to his dismay, David Eikelkamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A.J. 武磊 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ritchie De Smedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ritchie De Smedt. Ritchie De Smedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, 于强常 managed to get in a good position for a shot. ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德's supporters rose to their feet, but 于强常 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德's Ritchie De Smedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 70th minute of play. Sylwester Sobania took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 82nd minute Sylwester Sobania shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ritchie De Smedt was a little too slow when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-5. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fazıl Hüsnü Acaroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Ritchie De Smedt made a huge save. In the 95th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Wilmes to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Melchor Bemabe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
