When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Frank Sachs sped through I Dont CopyXML Tactics's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santo Marcos. The supporters of Germany booed when I Dont CopyXML Tactics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bill Diericx didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. 38 minutes into the match, Evandro Diniz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 1-2. Bill Diericx got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wilian Motta. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

I Dont CopyXML Tactics's Mario Steinmetz got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 52nd minute of play forced I Dont CopyXML Tactics's goalkeeper Santo Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonny Bernard in the 65th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Adriano Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Adriano Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot.
