After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 19th minute. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Hao Yan Ying sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, 61 PIMMS FC's Cao Ting Ran got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mehmet Ediz Ulutay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chris Mergenthaler made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 61 PIMMS FC's Alessandro Costacurta. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Hao Yan Ying managed to get in a good position for a shot. 61 PIMMS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hao Yan Ying was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aslan Icardi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 61 PIMMS FC the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. Chris Mergenthaler made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Frank Sachs. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hao Yan Ying made a kick off. Işıkalp Berksu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of 61 PIMMS FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hao Yan Ying sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hao Yan Ying, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 59th minute Hao Yan Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hao Yan Ying, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İlkan Barlas's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But to his dismay, Hao Yan Ying quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 61 PIMMS FC's Mehmet Ediz Ulutay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 71st minute of play. If Işıkalp Berksu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1.
