Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lorenz De Paula kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubén Urruti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sitges's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubén Urruti came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubén Urruti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Sitges's Rubén Urruti got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute Charidimos Papandreou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rubén Urruti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Øyvind Rovik came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charidimos Papandreou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Øyvind Rovik who took care of the corner kick. In the 37th match minute, Sitges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josep Vila to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Sitges's Rubén Urruti got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rubén Urruti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Lorenz De Paula managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sitges's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenz De Paula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rubén Urruti. Sitges's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charidimos Papandreou in the 61st minute. Lorenz De Paula's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenz De Paula helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Sitges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenz De Paula to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Charidimos Papandreou took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Mauricio Salazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Mauricio Salazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubén Urruti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubén Urruti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charidimos Papandreou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sitges getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Kevin Johnson hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Sitges's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Rubén Urruti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sitges's Josep Vila got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Lorenz De Paula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubén Urruti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 93rd minute of the match. Netherlands's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
