Arturo Vistruario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Vistruario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Nicolas Maradona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BσƚιɳҽɾαMαɾƚιɳGαlαɳҽƚα⚽33 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sven Krakouer hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gheorghe Ciurea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leandro Lorien could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Maradona got free with Tommy Kahn in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Vistruario having to interfere. After 59 played minutes BσƚιɳҽɾαMαɾƚιɳGαlαɳҽƚα⚽33 got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Walme. The supporters of Germany booed when BσƚιɳҽɾαMαɾƚιɳGαlαɳҽƚα⚽33 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Txilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Vistruario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 67th minute of play. BσƚιɳҽɾαMαɾƚιɳGαlαɳҽƚα⚽33 were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leandro Lorien took the corner. Germany's Ulrich Stein got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Arturo Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
