After having played for 3 minutes, Mikkel Wulff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikkel Wulff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute, Ludwig Holmberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Keld Paulsen. The goal made the score 1-0. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harry Bäckström was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ludwig Holmberg's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludwig Holmberg helped the player get up and apologised. Ludwig Holmberg hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Theis Winther. Pål Beck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harry Bäckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Higher's Harry Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 29th minute of play. Harry Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Bäckström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Chris Nygaard sped through FC Higher's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Harry Bäckström. Wictor Morat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Chris Nygaard hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, Max Hedkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Higher's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. Max Hedkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Harry Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Mathias Ludvigsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Bäckström having to interfere.
The wind increased when Wictor Morat made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Chris Nygaard made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Higher's Harry Bäckström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Higher's Harry Bäckström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, FC Higher's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Harry Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes, Lennart Telin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Higher and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes FC Higher got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Telin. Bror Ek's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Ludwig Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Manoel Britto put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Denmark booed when FC Higher was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harry Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Denmark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Higher.
