Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eusebiu Ipătescu started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lyle Coppack prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Italy were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. 13 minutes into the match, Sigfrido Auletta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lyle Coppack. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sigfrido Auletta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fábio Vieira, made in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Sigfrido Auletta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Italy defense, Eusebiu Ipătescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. In the 23rdth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lyle Coppack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 28th minute of the match. Ladislao Bela kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Lyle Coppack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Mihăiţă Stolniceanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavio Vittori. That made the score 2-1 after 33 minutes of play. Zaccheo Andolina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyle Coppack having to interfere. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Italy's Zaccheo Andolina in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián-Daniel Dobre, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Mei went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Mei in the 95th minute of play. Italy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
