Llamas's attentive Ennu Saamatu managed to snatch the ball when Gustav Iseli made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. With his leg Maarek Tänav managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Switzerland's Samuele Kunz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 13th minute Samuele Kunz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maarek Tänav saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Llamas's attentive Ennu Saamatu managed to snatch the ball when Gustav Iseli made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Llamas defense, Samuele Kunz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maarek Tänav. The Llamas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maarek Tänav should have stopped the shot. Llamas's Ennu Saamatu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gustav Iseli, made in the 24th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Samuele Kunz sped through Llamas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maarek Tänav. 35 minutes into the match, Llamas's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Maurer came free, but Maarek Tänav reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Llamas booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo von Känel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Llamas's Sander Hanni got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Allemann made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Samuele Kunz however managed to control. In the 45th minute, Ennu Saamatu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maarek Tänav took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Maurer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The audience was convinced that Samuele Kunz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maarek Tänav was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Llamas's Ennu Saamatu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gustav Iseli in the 70 minute of the game. Gustav Iseli made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Llamas's Ennu Saamatu. When Sander Hanni came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Llamas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sander Hanni couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute Samuele Kunz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maarek Tänav saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Kutsar struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llamas. Samuele Kunz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Maarek Tänav tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 96th minute of the match Sander Hanni completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sander Hanni a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Switzerland fans cheered their team off the field, for while Llamas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
