Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Rukszcz in the 3rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Sartori during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, one of Spain:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Spain. Spain:s Gabriel Ascaso showed great skill when he stopped Florian Rukszcz:s penalty. Gabriel Ascaso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florian Rukszcz went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Adam Wnukowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Ascaso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Toledo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Florian Rukszcz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Gabriel Ascaso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 66 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Rabellino. Kania Gostyń made a substitution. Gabriel Ascaso came out and tried to block the shot, but Severiano Oliverio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 79th minute. Spain made a substitution. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. After 87 minutes Spain's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adam Wnukowski who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Severiano Oliverio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Spain's Gabriel Ascaso did a great save. The Kania Gostyń fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Kania Gostyń's Severiano Oliverio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Spain's zone, Florian Rukszcz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal and Florian Rukszcz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
