An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Quilo in the 14th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Edwin van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dabi Saens in the 17th minute of play. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 18th minute of play. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Jerónimo Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerónimo Furtado was the one to do the kick off. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Quilo in the 51st minute of play. União Sport Clube Paredes's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 56th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Jerónimo Furtado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Roman Quilo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Quilo ran back to his position shaking his head. Altino Palha's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Altino Palha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Altino Palha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hegedus Henrik came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hegedus Henrik couldn't finish the play. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Quilo in the 73rd minute of play. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerónimo Furtado's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Jerónimo Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Santana in the 81st minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerónimo Furtado in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 minutes, Jerónimo Furtado made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Hungary booed when União Sport Clube Paredes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lambe Kü didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When União Sport Clube Paredes's Jerónimo Furtado in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
