With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo Tammaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viriato Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Martini. Caetano Moreira charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caetano Moreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Caetano Moreira hit a great ball. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Ernesto Martini scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 1-0. Cristoforo Tammaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 17th minute of play. Viriato Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristoforo Tammaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Barreto's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristoforo Tammaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristoforo Tammaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Lunatics of Arianrhod's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. After a rather tough play, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ernesto Martini got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristoforo Tammaro saved Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting behind. Caetano Moreira hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Enzo Di Placido shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Wilson Amorim but with some difficulty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hibai came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Barretos short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Cristoforo Tammaro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Felipe Barreto sped through Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristoforo Tammaro. 58 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Cristoforo Tammaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Tammaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viriato Moura went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Portugal booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Panza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Viriato Moura came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viriato Moura couldn't finish the play. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Hibai, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Graciano Coutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lunatics of Arianrhod the free kick. After 67 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Graciano Coutinho. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. The supporters of Lunatics of Arianrhod booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The Lunatics of Arianrhod fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ernesto Martini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Ernesto Martini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Ernesto Martini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Joel Hibai came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Lunatics of Arianrhod fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Hibai couldn't finish the play. Cristoforo Tammaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hibai came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Makis Galopoulos in the 94 minute of the game. Bartolomeu Dias scored 3-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristoforo Tammaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
