In the 11th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Gipuzkoa in the 15th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ got a freekick which was hit by Federico Eleazar. 22 minutes into the match, ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Jose Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Arnout Reekers managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Baldomiro Laurgain fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 32 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Ferran came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Gipuzkoa in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Jose Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Jose Nuñez managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jose Nuñez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egbert Nijveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. King Head fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. In the 76th minute Baldomiro Laurgain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Costin Ivasiuc hit a great ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when King Head came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, King Head kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Jose Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 88th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Jose Nuñez in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jose Nuñez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Hugo Fernandez hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Netherlands had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
