Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, BATMAN SK's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Dida Gentenaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 13th minute of play forced BATMAN SK's goalkeeper Dida Gentenaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Gentenaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Meesters to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Ali Hamza Duyar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dida Gentenaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 22nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dida Gentenaar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dida Gentenaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. BATMAN SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Hamza Duyar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 41 minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, BATMAN SK's Ali Hamza Duyar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Qian Yun Ting to make the kick off. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Qian Yun Ting went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Hamza Duyar in the 64th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Lars Meesters took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Dida Gentenaar to make any attempt to save it. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Hamza Duyar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of BATMAN SK booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Wilmes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Qian Yun Ting cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Gentenaar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Lars Meesters fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Lars Meesters a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Meesters to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Qian Yun Ting notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Hamza Duyar in the 91st minute of play.
